'K' Stands for Kundasang ! Part II

Okay, so another post about 'K'. Well the next day of the trip which on Dec 19th, 2010....hm ~ nothing much happen. It's 7.05am and Gerard cell phone started to ring out loud makes me want to crash it with my cold bare hand( but no, to lazy for that of course...early in the morning I supposed) when I look out the window, Mala and Esther has already wake up from their bed and I heard something from them but not really clear....oh well whatever ~~

I straightly went to the bathroom to have my morning shower and the water at first was really COLD like ICE!! BRRRrrrr....Then suddenly the water turns out became really hot and I was really shock. As if I was bathing in hot boiled water. God this really killing me. I don't care and no choice but just straightly had to continue bathing. The bathroom situated in front of the Livingroom and when I went out lucky for me there was only my sister watching her favourite T.V show and perhaps just ignore me. I just smiled silently....(crazy...)

Later I found out that our friend Mr John Chin actually in early morning he was knocking each and everyones room with an intention to invite us go for a jog around the area...okay. FYR, the place that we stay ws really like ....maybe 20 minutes away from another stay-in or villa by car.... Well I'm to damn tired all those trip on the previous day.
Maybe next time...

Here's the map

I don't don't really exactly know about the entire area was but I'm pretty sure it was like this ...( pretty ugly huh..) Oh well looks like he had to do it alone I guest. Then my friend Esther, calling us for breakfast from the next door. But unfortunately not everyone was ready so I and my twins go with her to the Villa's main cafeteria and sat down searching for the waiter or waitress. American breakfast anyone? Just what I need to strengthen my weak energy ( ...the taste of sausage kinda like " off Beat"?)

Everyone was looks very tired during those hour and sleepy too! How I wish I had a camera so I can capture every funny moment when we were there. Since we had to pay for the transportation, we had to prepared some expenses so the bus driver would take us all back to K.K ( our home sweet home). Since it was going to rain that day, Mr J.C said that he had to cancelled our trip to Kinabalu National Park and when I heard that I was quite sad though because this were my first trip to Kundasang and I don't get the chance to visit some places that I want to go. That's okay but still dissapointed...

Mr J.C might trying to cheer everyone but stopping by at the edge of high hill 30 minutes from the villa's. Funny thing when we made it at the hill everyone was taking picture together and leave Mr J.C behind ....hahaha poor him ~
10 minutes break and we finally take off to K.K, right where we belong!!

Trivia
- At first, everyone felt that this trip might not as good as the previous trip
- On our way to Kundasang, we came accross to accident where one which a car overturned and a truck that skidded off street, everyone was suprised but not the bus driver
- At poring, I saw a boy peeing in a pool which I think and feel bad for all the tourist who went inside the same pool
- That night, our dinner was chicken barbeque marinated with chicken sauce and such but funny things are...the taste seem a little bit sour!! Everyone thought it was the 'chef' fault but actually it's not
- Mr J.C saw a wooden insect which makes  me screamed  out  loud and  was   really shock! Well he teach me and   Gary Ting on how to get closer with the nature but Ting VS me, congratulation Gary Ting, you've won ( I run..)
- Same time at night, everyone was trilled with happy hour I supposed but we played the game called 'Truth or dare' turned out it was not really that fun at all
- Next visit to the hill, when everyone was ready for photo shoot with beautiful view at our back, later afterwards. the  very  strong wind and  misty  mist coming out from nowhere suddenly cover the view which makes everyone gone mad!! Mr J.c don't know what to do...

And yes, that's the end of the trip ~ Well pretty exciting huh?

Double Satoimo ( Taro Root) with miso

Satoimo (taro root)is in season right now in Japan .
Although satoimo is available year round these days, it’s still considered a harbinger of the fall season, because of its dense, homey texture. This way of preparing them is a variation of on a very traditional country recipe, the Japanese name for which is satoimo no tomo ae, or satoimo dressed with itself. This just means that some mashed up satoimo is mixed into the sauce that coats the satoimo pieces, giving it a wonderfully creamy texture.

Sport really kick your ass!!

Hello readers! 5 plain days has gone and how I miss to write my story for you guys! Well, I had a amazing week which I thought on the first place " Hmm...another plain day of the week" Ha! guest what? Its not that bad after all. Well our college had participate for joining the Sports organized for all the IPTS college in Sabah. There's so many college paticipate in this big event ( I called this great event because I myself never had a chance to represent my alma mater)

Well remember in my previous post says I'm worrying about the Ping-pong club and all the problems ? Yup, This post is the continue's some part of it. Back to the topic, the event was organized for 3 days (29th until 31st) and the 1st day was my match with other college. With all cool kids from 6 college not to mention that most them was cute chinese kids, the match went pretty well actually. Moreover, when I see them ,... gosh they more than a pro!!Its like, they play it simple. You know what I mean...

As for our college, well we only manage to get bronze( 3rd place ) for sure but hey, everyone try their best, just had fun no stress. The score are not that bad either thats for plus! So I really proud of my team. At least we're having fun during the match. Since ping-pong match was on same time with badminton match, we heard news that not all team are winning and only the mixed group manage get to the final.

On the 2nd day of match, well we become the supporters of the day!! Great experience though....great experience because when I was in my alma mater, I never get the chance watching my school sport or representing one ( I used to think sport makes me feel itchy). I just can't to see basketball team to show their flaw on... hey I'm not really a big fan, but some of my classmate ( Vincent, Chua Hong Tee, Gary Ting )were playing and want I want to support them! GO TEAM ATIC! Ha...its funny when we went there to support them, we seems lost.

And by lost I mean we had to see the scoreboard just to know who's actually win the game. Another team supporters just straightly shout out loud once the ball fall into the ring.....ngeh! One comments from my friends says that " Our cheerleader really are slow" and laugh at us....hehehehe One thing that I don't like about this game is...some of the player just play rough on our team player... FYI one the player from another college scratch my friends face withour even feel a little guilty! DAMN YOU!!
The good news is....our college manage to get gold medal which really makes us feel very happy and proud.
Well everyone play with effort and extra practice on their last training.

As for the volleyball team, well they may be lose for the semifinal but at least I can see team-work among the team players. My friend Jojo...whoa this is the first time I see her put a lot of effort in something! Even our senior Ms Mas was good too!

Next, on the 3rd day or final day of the event, nothing much I guest...the closing event there wasn't so many players of our college come to celebrate the day because of all tiredness come at the end of the day....of course there so many thing happens om the 3rd day but as for me I really need a rest for 2 days.....but not!!

Oh yeah, our badminton mixed group finally get the bronze for our college sake!! Yes I know, sounds like loser who had just won a 5 dollar or something but hey...the feeling is GREAT!!

I don't have the chance to celebrate Halloween or get some candy from house to house but sport event on Halloween wasn't a bad idea after all...just combo of Halloween and sports and some medal of course..so much thing going on and I really enjoy every single moment of it...even I'm really tired and my foot are killing me! I went home eat my lunch and straightly go to sleep

Thats all for now everyone , had to go for assignment!

P.S did I mention that I got backache after the event ended and my sister really had a bad cold? Well Sometimes Sports really kick your ass too!

New International Interest - JAPAN

For the record, I just had new International interest...I'm starting fancy Japan. Well since I'm learning Japanese in my study, and of course I fell in love withthe culture and tradition. So I followed this blog and I think its amazing where the author show some amazing design about modern Japanese design house which amuse me and I thought its perfectly design by the Japanese designer.

Another thing She introduce in her blog something that I think its very unique design plus some interesting place I think the best the kara kira chow which is the stationary designed beautifull card.
When I first learn the language I thought it would be hard for me to handle but turned out it wasn't that bad either. Well I haven't tried the food but I'll think I could give it a try ( even Shuushi I'm still don't know how it is tastes) ... oh I heard about this dish called wagashi which I think its a really cute dish.....Ooo how I love to taste all of the japanese cuisine..( mom lets go to Japan!!)

Eids day ...not bad at all . Part I

Hello readers, hope you guys doing just fine...well as for me I'm finish celebrating Eids day with my family....
it was such great time we had since 2 years ago....

1st Day
We went to our grandmother's house located not far from our hometown. Well its been awhile since we met them all and I got the chance to meet all my cousins, nephews and nieces ( oh how I miss them ..) whoa, I'm think getting old when I saw them. They grew up fast!!! Anyway, before all of us can eat, all the boys recite the prayers to thank God then....we eat happily..ngeh..

Okay, this might be boring but wait until I tell you about my visit trip to my father's house.
Well before I start, I would like to tell a little bit about my biological father ..... name Abdul Rahman, 39 this year( same age with my mom). ....He's not friendly person and love to be alone ( I don't know what my mom see in him....ngeh), always think he right in everything and don't accept other opinion including his from his brother or sister ....not even a religious person .okay thats all I can tell oh they already divorce with my mom but still ....we sibblings has to ask some pocket money from him, right?

So just us sibblings went to his house to celebrate the eids with him ( although I don't want to). Well his house located at Tanjung Aru near the beach....Then when we try to shake his hand, he quickly pulled his hand and pulled the stupid look that he always shows us....what the fuck old man....ah feeling better...
Well so what, we just went inside the house where we saw our grandmother lying on the couch then  smiling when she saw us 5. She looks pale and weak....she 86 years old ...well to tell you the truth, I don't think my grandma ever remember us anymore...she just smile to us like meeting some sort of stranger or something which kinda make me feel sad about it. Back to the topic about my father, well after all these years, he still kind of person that you want to punch when you saw him.....actually last year we fight two days before eids  and I hit him on the face and he just shock....hahahaha serve him right....I hate him, I'll never forget what he has done toward my mother which was so unforgivable....

My aunts and uncles are the best things that ever happen to me, their the one who always give me love and attention I need it and when they saw me in trouble they will help me but I can say that since they're my father sibbling they kinda hypocrite too!! ( ...I supposed you can't trust everyone 100% including your family ) After a few hours stuck inside 'his' house....we live and we don't even look at him....go to hell old man!!!

To be continue...

Good thing about swimming

Swimming is good exercise (that's obvious). Swimming is a lifetime sport that benefits the body and the whole person! But what is it that makes swimming good, specifically? That depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Swimming is a healthy activity that can be continued for a lifetime - and the health benefits swimming offers for a lifetime are worth the effort it takes to get to the pool.

Why do you swim? For the health benefits to your heart and lungs? For the chance to be with some of your friends at the pool? Because, in your case, running everyday hurts? Because you like the feeling of floating and sliding through the water? Or is it something else?If you are looking for a break from the heat of the summer, then a dip in the water is exactly what you need; swimming is a way for you to cool off. It fills a wonderful recreational need for individuals and families, from beach and pool fun to water parks.

Maybe you are a runner, training on a regular basis, and want to find an activity that keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off of your body. Perhaps you have been doing some other form of land exercise, and now an injury prevents you from putting weight on a knee or ankle. Swimming can help you. Kicking workouts, water aerobics, pool running, or a regular swimming workout can all give you a great exercise session without the weight of your body pounding you with each move.

Regular swimming builds endurance, muscle strength and cardio-vascular fitness. It can serve as a cross-training element to your regular workouts. Before a land workout, you can use the pool for a warm-up session. Swimming with increasing effort to gradually increase your heart rate and stimulate your muscle activity is easily accomplished in the water. After a land workout, swimming a few laps can help you cool-down, move blood through your muscles to help them recover, and help you relax as you glide through the water.

Swimming does burn calories at a rate of about 3 calories a mile per pound of bodyweight. If you weigh 150 lbs. and it takes you 30 minutes to swim one mile (1,760 yards or 1,609 meters), then you will be using about 900 calories in one hour. However, many swimmers do not swim that quickly, and many cannot swim for that distance or duration.

Spending time in a group workout, whether water aerobics or a master's swim practice, is a great social outlet. Exchanging stories, challenging each other, and sharing in the hard work make swimming with others a rewarding experience.

There are other psychological benefit to swimming, if you allow it to occur. Relax and swim with a very low effort. Let your mind wander, focusing on nothing but the rhythm of your stroke. This form of meditation can help you gain a feeling of well-being, leaving your water session refreshed and ready to go on with the rest of your day. Many swimmers find an in-direct benefit form swimming. They develop life skills such as sportsmanship, time-management, self-discipline, goal-setting, and an increased sense of self-worth through their participation in the sport. Swimmers seem to do better in school, in general terms, than non-swimmers as a group.
